What are tags? You can give your posts a "tag", which is like a keyword. Tags help you find content which has something in common. You can assign as many tags as you wish to each post.
It’s harder to do a portrait of a friend, someone I really know, because I already have an impression of how that person is.It’s difficult to bring out a different character. I find myself limited but then that’s the challenge for me.
This photo has been pending for days now and the inspiration only sparked this afternoon. It has always been there when I took this photo weeks ago, but it took awhile for me to be able to translate what I really want for it.
The thrill for me about making portraits of my friends is when I bring them to my world.
The thrill for them is when they see themselves in character.

I thought that it was time to change my avatar. I had my tripod, found good available light inspite of the weather, and used this scarf that was given to me as gift. It's not a keffiyeh, by the way. It just looks like one. Please don't see this self-portrait as a political protest.
I have said many times before, The Afghan Girl serves as my inspiration. With this, I also tried to bring out the Mona Lisa feel. I cannot explain it but this is what came out of my impromptu shoot.

Took me a couple of shots because a self-portrait with a tripod is harder to do, especially if you're alone in doing it.

This is I think the first time I have collaborated with other talents and their specialization. And I really mean talents, they are basically well known in their field.
Of course the only contribution I could do is the post processing, which is done with my colors and lighting.
